Calendar of Events 2009

2009 marks the 30th Anniversary of the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club and hopefully again this year we are in for some spectacular and close racing. Chris will be contesting no less than 3 different Championships this season. These include 1300 National Championship, Boyer Bransden 1300 Championship and the Unlimited Post Classic which will see Chris mixing it up with some big and very fast Japanese machinery.

We are also looking forward to some of the feature races such as the Wheatcroft Trophy so all in all a busy looking season racing with the CRMC.

CRMC 2009

  • Pembrey  -  April 11th / 12th
    First Race of the Season
    Not a track that Chris knows so hopefully we don't have a repeat of last years SNOW Storm

 

  • Darley Moor  -  May 16th / 17th
    Great Club Circuit
    The track looks fast so should suit the bike and the warm weather that we get during May.

 

  • Donington Park  -  June 19th / 20th / 21st
    3 Day Meeting
    This weekend features the Norton Festival and the famous Wheatcroft Trophy so there should be a great turnout of some very classy Manx Nortons

 

  • Brands Hatch  -  July 11th / 12th
    Our Local Circuit
    After our 2008 outing we are looking at fitting water wings and an outboard. It would be nice to have a dry one though.

 

  • Croft August  -  8th / 9th        CANCELLED as a result of Court Hearing on Noise!!!!
    Provisional pending Noise Court Case
    The CRMC are hoping to have a Band on for some great evening entertainment.

 

  • Snetterton  -  September 12th / 13th
    CRMC 30th Anniversary Meeting + Race of Aces
    This weekend always produces big grids and will see some famous names from yesteryear out on track.

 

  • Cadwell Park  -  October 10th / 11th
    Race of the Year Event
    Saturday will see most of the Championships decided then Sunday is Race of the Year for all classes. It's also the final meeting of the season so we will see a big field and full grids and of course some spectacular racing. It's also Chris's Birthday weekend for all the event is not until Tuesday be prepared for a bit of a Birthday Bash on the Saturday Night......

 

  • BMCRC Centenary Meeting - Brands Hatch 18th / 19th April

    • Event Title - Beezumph 18 - Date - 14th & 15th August 2009

    • The TR3OC famous annual event just gets better and better. Chris has an active role at the event with various marshalling duties etc! The event for any classic bike nut should be on your calendar as it is one NOT TO BE MISSED.

     

    • Upcoming Events 2

      • Event Title - 16th DECCLA Classics Endurance Race - 6th / 7th February 09    Unfortunately Pat's  bike was still in  P&M being rebuilt for the 2009 CRMC Season.

      • This event is exclusively for classic motorbikes and will take place at the CARTEGENA CIRCUIT in Spain.

      

      • Chris has been invited by Patrick Banfield to join him for this fantastic endurance event.
        The guys are hoping to use Patrick's 750 Rob North Trident for this event and the bike is currently in P&Ms workshop being prepped for the 2009 season. The event is provisional as the chaps at P&M have a lot of work to do on Pat's machine but everyone has their fingers crossed. Full details of the weekend can be found at www.deccla.com This is an ideal opportunity to blow the winter cobwebs away and have some fun in the sun.
