Bike Specification

1972 Rob North Trident T160 - 930cc

Bought as a box of bits and built initially as a road bike, decided in 2007 to start racing with the CRMC so the road bits were stripped off and a trip to P&Ms workshop later and we were ready to race.......

The current specification is as follows;

Crankshaft - 77mm Stroke - Lightened 1311B approx, cross drilled, balanced and tuftrided 

Camshafts - Mega Cycle Cams in TCB ex 51b

Lightened Tappets

Lightened Cam Wheels

Carrillo Rods

Omega Pistons

P&M 930 Cylinder Barrels

Gas Flowed Head with 33mm ports

Black Diamond Valves with Lash Caps

Titanium Top Covers

Tuftrided Rocker Spindle

Lightened & Polished Rockers (Shimmed)

High Flow Oil Pump

34mm MK2 Amal Carburettors

5 Speed Gearbox with some Phil Pick Close Ratio Internals

P&M Belt Drive
